Legos

The other day my brother and i were playing Lego's. This is one things we don't fight a lot over we like to build big wars in them there are walls , buildings , and more in the wars . We at lest play 15 to 30 min. a day . We probably have about 3,000 Lego's. It is the best way my brother and i enjoy.

Brickarms

The other day I found a website called brickarms.com. It is all Lego's and you can buy 4 people that are $15 because they are exclusive and not at any stores and they sell weapons packs or just weapons separately.

The website is so big they hold 2 Lego fairs every year--one for the whole world and one for just for the United States. Millions of people go to the Lego fairs.

Skate Park

I went to visit Grandma Jane in Sacramento this weekend. She lives pretty close to a neat skate park, that pros go to every day. It costs $3 to get in for the whole day, which is pretty cheap. I did some chores to earn the money, I pulled about 1,000 weeds! Well, they aren't weeds. They are tiny little plants that grow up in your garden, so I guess they are kind of similar.

The skate park is open from 12-8 on Saturdays. Grandma and I went at about 12:30 and there was only one other kid there at the time, the owner's daughter was riding her bike. It's nice to be there alone because you fall a lot, and other people aren't in your way.

I go down a lot of ramps, I ollie off of ledges. My ollie is tiny, but it is getting better! I stayed for about 2 hours, and by the end I was going on the half pipe and having a lot of fun. One kid that I was hanging out with wanted tips on going down half pipes, so I gave him a few.

The park is really cool and the kids are always really nice. Sometimes we challenge each other in a game of Skate. It is when you try to do better tricks than the other kids, and then the kids watching vote on who wins. I love going to the skate park!

FINALLY!

I have been skateboarding for about 3 1/2 years. I have been trying to do the Ollie the whole time and I have finally done it. I first was able to only get my board off the floor for about a week. I have been trying to land it since then, and on Saturday I was able to land it. Since then I have been so happy!!!!

Taco Tuesday

I thought it would be fun to have Taco Tuesday at our house about 4 weeks ago. I also thought we could have Spencer's spaghetti tacos, from the TV show iCarly. We have also had fish tacos, stake tacos, and beef tacos. It is an easy and fun meal that my family enjoys.

Tech Decks!

I just love Tech Decks. They are small finger boards that you can do cool tricks with, like the ollie, kick flip, heel flip, manual, 360, 50/50 grind, nose grind, and much more. You can buy all sorts of ramps too.

Each Tech Deck has its own design, by different skateboarding companies. My favorite company is Zoo York.

I first found out about Tech Decks at school in 2nd grade. I have about 10 or 12. I have one of the ramps, it is a street ramp. I want to get a vert ramp. I have also had fun trying to make some ramps with cardboard. They have turned out pretty good.

CRACKER!

My favorite book is CRACKER! The Best Dog in Vietman. I actually have never read the book, but I have listened to it on CD about 40 times. I check it out from the library all the time!

Cracker is a dog that lives with a boy and his parents. When the father loses his job, they have to move to an apartment. The owner tells them they have to get rid of Cracker. One night when the parents were playing bridge, they started arguing about the Vietnam War. Someone mentioned that they needed German Shepherds to go help with the war.

Cracker was picked up by a few soldiers and sent to the 167 IPSD Training Camp in Georgia. Cracker was assigned Rick as her handler, and together they were sent to Vietnam to "whip the world". Cracker was an awesome dog! She went on about 10 missions and because she was so good, she went on a special forces mission. She helped save 8 soldiers. They all made it back safely, and that is my mini review.

Back to School

Tomorrow I go back to school. I am in the 3rd grade at Jean Callison Elementary School in Vacaville, CA. My teacher is Mrs. Smith. She is nice. I had a good vacation.
